Draw the route, including the socket
Facecam Neo’s specification reading dated 2026-11-01 records a fixed 140 cm USB-C 2.0 cable and an included monitor mount with a quarter-inch thread. Follow the intended route around the monitor to the actual computer port. A straight distance across a desk leaves out bends and the movement needed when repositioning a screen. The record also says a Type-A adapter is not included, so identify the host socket rather than assuming a spare adapter will solve every connection.
Plan the voice separately
Elgato’s comparison note from the same date marks microphones absent on both Facecam Neo and Facecam MK.2. A camera position that frames a drawing demonstration therefore does not establish a voice-recording arrangement. Put the microphone and its connection on the same sketch before deciding the camera completes the setup. These archived specifications help plan connections; they do not evaluate room acoustics or prove that a particular extended cable arrangement works.
