Paradise has a tangible reason to turn the dial
Paradise’s Zoom Dial moves between Tama Space, Tama Field, the Tamagotchi character and Tama Cells. That makes changing the scale of observation part of caring for the creature. It is a compelling reason to choose Paradise if looking more closely at the character’s little world is the activity you want.
Bandai also describes docking two Paradise devices for connection play. That is a particular device-to-device interaction, rather than evidence that every Tamagotchi model can join it.
Uni puts the connected character world first
Uni presents the Tamaverse as a place for the characters people have raised. If the connected-world idea is what attracts you, it gives Uni a distinct identity beside Paradise’s dial. Some Uni features need Wi-Fi, so that interest also creates a practical dependency.
The GB page still lists a security-support period ending 13 July 2026, alongside later download news. That date is not evidence that the Tamaverse has shut down. It is a reason to ask Bandai about current support in the intended region before making continuing online access the main purchase argument.
Let the recurring activity decide
Choose Paradise when the four-scale care interface is the feature you want to use repeatedly. Choose Uni when the connected Tamaverse is the draw and its current regional support meets your expectations. A shell colour can make either object more appealing, but it cannot resolve that difference in daily play.
For a shared purchase, identify the actual models friends have rather than assuming the Tamagotchi name creates one interchangeable network. The pleasure should come from a routine or interaction you understand, not a character-count promise.
