Before comparing specifications, write down where you actually use a pointer during a normal week. Include the narrowest table and the bag that carries your computer. This turns an attractive desk photograph into a useful question: how much room can this setup occupy when the room is also doing something else?
Two manufacturer descriptions, two starting points
Logitech presents MX Master 3S as a performance wireless mouse and MX Anywhere 3S as a compact model. Both official pages describe an 8,000-DPI sensor and quieter clicks. Those shared claims do not make the shapes interchangeable, or establish how either feels in your hand. Use the product photographs to compare their proportions, then check the exact dimensions and edition on the official specification panel rather than judging scale from separate cropped images.
Separate productivity from gaming requirements
For document work, your priorities might be scrolling, shortcuts and a comfortable place for the mouse beside the keyboard. For games, first identify the actual input requirements of the titles you play. A high sensor number alone is not a measured latency result or a promise of competitive performance. This comparison contains no gaming benchmark, and it would be misleading to turn an office-focused feature list into a tournament recommendation without testing.
Check the connection as carefully as the shape
The Anywhere page lists Bluetooth pairing with up to three devices and compatibility with a separately supplied Logi Bolt receiver. Do not assume that every box, marketplace edition or older receiver provides the same connection options. Write down your computer, operating system and available ports. If your workplace restricts software installation, distinguish basic pointing from the custom functions you want to configure. A feature you cannot enable should not carry the decision.
A choice that can wait for evidence
For a fixed desk, examine the Master shape against your available space; for frequent travel, examine the Anywhere footprint against your carrying routine.
