For someone who wants Pooh beside a reading chair or among familiar keepsakes, that combination may be the point. Do not let the broader Steiff collector image change a simple wish into a search for an unrelated jointed or mohair product.
A sitting body, not a posing system
The maker describes bean bags in the arms, legs and bottom, supporting the bear’s sitting form. Disney Store corroborates the soft finish and gives approximate overall dimensions of 29 × 20 × 13 cm. That is useful for imagining a modest companion on an ordinary surface. Neither description establishes a poseable joint system or a removable wardrobe; if those activities are the attraction, this record does not provide the reason to choose this item.
Handling is part of the choice
The current Steiff care table permits a maximum 30°C gentle wash and rules out tumble drying. Follow the actual item label when caring for the bear; its red clothing does not make every Pooh plush the same washable product. For an adult recipient, ask a warmer, simpler question than whether they collect the brand: would they enjoy this familiar soft character in the place they use every day? Choose the particular bear when that answer is yes, rather than substituting rarity for affection.
