What part of playing do you want to change?
An optional Pokémon GO Plus + is most interesting when you can name an interaction you want to hand over. The official guide allows play with the phone screen asleep or the app in the background. That can appeal to someone who wants less repeated screen interaction, but it is not the same wish as keeping close control of every encounter. Begin with that difference rather than treating an accessory as an automatic upgrade for every Pokémon fan.
Automatic and button-selected are separate conveniences
The help centre says Auto-throw uses ordinary Poké Balls for species you have caught before. Selecting Great Balls or Ultra Balls belongs to Plus + button-throw settings. A supply of stronger balls therefore does not turn into automatic throws simply because you selected a different ball type.
This gives two quite different habits to consider. You may want ordinary automatic attempts, or you may want a physical button while retaining a chosen ball variety. The second still contains an intentional action; describe that attraction honestly rather than promising entirely hands-off use of every ball.
The part you give up matters
The official Bluetooth-device instructions say there is one catch attempt and no use of Berries through these devices. If adapting each encounter is the enjoyable part of your session, the simplified action removes something you value. If you are happy to leave some encounters to a bounded attempt, the exchange is easier to understand. Neither preference establishes a guaranteed capture or a measured improvement in your results.
Choose a habit you will actually use
Picture one ordinary session and decide which role the accessory would play: automatic ordinary-ball attempts, deliberate button throws, or optional automatic PokéStop collection. Keep it paired with the relevant phone-and-app setup rather than imagining a standalone Pokémon game. If the wanted activity is still careful on-screen catching, there is no need to invent another task just to make a physical accessory feel necessary.
