A documented compact combination
Peak Design’s current Travel Backpack page offers a 20L photo bundle with a Smedium Camera Cube. That is a useful concrete starting point for someone who wants a small camera module inside an ordinary travel pack, with the bag-only and photo-bundle selections kept distinct. The Cube’s FlexFold dividers make it an organiser for camera components rather than simply an empty general pouch.
Smedium is not a spelling of Medium
The maker assigns dual side-access hatches to Medium and Large Camera Cubes. Do not transfer that feature to Smedium because the name looks close. A buyer expecting to open the Cube from either side should settle the exact size and access arrangement before choosing the compact pairing. Adding a bag with an opening does not create a matching opening in the insert.
Independent carry adds another part
Peak Design describes external loops for its straps and says those straps are sold separately. The Cube can therefore have another carrying role, but the strap is not silently part of the insert purchase. Choose Smedium when the modular divider arrangement and the actual bag pairing are useful. If the real wish is a ready-to-carry shoulder bag with every access feature already present, compare that complete form instead of asking a compact insert to become it.
