Start with the character you want to spend time with
A character puzzle makes a different request from a small figure: it asks you to participate in making the image. Ravensburger's Disney Villainous — Maleficent gives a collector a named villain as the centre of a 1,000-piece project. That is an appealing direction for someone who wants an activity attached to their interest in Maleficent, rather than another object that arrives ready to place on a shelf.
A particular object, not every Villainous listing
The US product record identifies article 12001109, EAN 4005555011095, and a finished horizontal format of 70 × 50 cm. The 2026 US catalogue lists it among the Disney Villainous puzzles. Use that identity when looking for the project: a series title does not make different characters, article numbers or regional listings interchangeable.
The manufacturer's age recommendation is 14 and above. The piece count and footprint explain the commitment more usefully than a promised completion time. Neither establishes how difficult a particular person will find the image, and a finished-size specification does not say a frame or mounting materials are included.
Choose participation over another display piece
Keep this on the list for a Maleficent fan who wants to build a sizeable flat image and has a place to leave it in progress. Someone looking for a quick desk decoration or a three-dimensional character will get a different kind of satisfaction elsewhere. The character gives the project its reason; wanting the assembly activity is what makes it a good personal choice.
