The date belongs before the specification list
Loupedeck announced the end of its own product-line sales on 28 March 2025, directing future development towards Logitech MX Creative Console. It also said support would continue. The current downloads page still lists CT and Live S, so ended direct sales and immediately unsupported hardware are not the same thing. Neither statement verifies current retailer inventory.
Two different control arrangements
Live S has two analog dials, four tactile layout buttons and fifteen touch-sensitive buttons. It fits a task where a small number of continuous adjustments sits beside a page of actions. CT adds six analog dials, twenty tactile buttons, twelve touch-sensitive buttons and a multi-use touch wheel. That larger physical vocabulary is relevant only if the work has separate jobs for it.
An existing Live S owner who needs only two recurring adjustments should not treat more controls as an automatic upgrade. An editor already using CT’s wheel and several dedicated adjustments has a different reason to retain that arrangement.
A retained device and a new purchase are different decisions
For an owner, start with the current software and the actual application plugin needed for the work. The download list is useful evidence of a supported device, not a lifetime promise or a test of every plugin.
For a prospective buyer, the manufacturer’s sales-ending notice must remain part of the choice even if an old page still says “On sale”. Compare an actual available offer and the continuing software route before committing. A larger console without the needed working integration is less useful than a familiar control arrangement that already does the job.
