Liber Knight or Liber Wizard: choose the body beneath the fantasy role

Both 30MF starters supply a Silhouette and equipment. The Wizard’s explicitly slimmer body makes this more than a sword-versus-staff accessory swap.

Two complete beginnings

A new 30MF project can begin with either a knight or a wizard without treating one as a missing-body upgrade for the other. BANDAI SPIRITS describes each of these starters as a Silhouette body plus armour and weapons. That matters for someone buying a first figure in the line: the choice is between two documented starting objects, not a complete character and a loose costume pack.

The Knight gives the equipment a familiar grammar

Liber Knight, JAN 4573102671615, includes a sword and shield. The official description explains their mounting options at the back or waist using joint parts. Those objects give a builder recognisable relationships to arrange: a guarded stance, equipment at rest, or a weapon carried rather than raised. These are possible display intentions, not a claim that a particular pose has been tested.

Choose the Knight when that combination of body and equipment is the character you actually want to build. The fictional elemental description belongs to the setting; it is not a physical performance rating for the plastic.

The Wizard changes more than what is held

For Liber Wizard, JAN 4573102686770, the manufacturer explicitly describes a slimmer Silhouette than Liber Knight. Its magical staff and role-specific armour therefore sit on a different stated body proposition. A collector drawn to a slender spellcaster does not need to justify the choice as an improvement over a knight; the desired character shape has changed.

Nor should the shared series name become a promise that every part from every release will fit every arrangement. These two product records establish their own starters and equipment, not universal cross-line compatibility.

Begin with the figure you want to keep

Picture the finished role before planning a drawer of upgrades. If the sword, shield and Knight body are the appeal, begin there. If the slimmer spellcaster and staff are the appeal, the Wizard supplies that documented starting point. There is no evidence here for calling one stronger, easier to assemble or a higher grade. The useful comparison is the fantasy body and role each kit makes available.
