Eight compartments make a minifigure collection a small cast

LEGO’s black Display Case 8 gives each figure a studded position. It favours a selected group over a crowded shared scene.

A role for every place

Choose the eight-place case when you enjoy deciding which characters belong together. Set 5006152 has two levels and eight separate compartments, with a grey studded baseplate in each. The grid can give a small cast equal visual standing: four favourites on one level and four related characters on the other, or another grouping that means something to you. That arrangement is an editorial choice, not a requirement to complete every series you encounter.

Individual figures instead of one diorama

LEGO describes transparent sides and baseplates that hold the figures in place. The appeal is the character-by-character presentation, not the ability to build a deep landscape around them. A large wing, tall accessory or oversized character can change that plan; the record does not promise that every object called a minifigure fits in an identical pose. If the interaction between figures matters most, an open scene with appropriate supports may be a better direction than a divided grid.

The case is the purchase unit

The exact-product record lists approximate outer dimensions of 18 cm high, 19 cm wide and 4 cm deep, and explicitly excludes minifigures. LEGO’s broader collection includes sixteen-place cases and play/display formats as well. Start with the small cast you already want to show. Eight intentional choices can be the complete arrangement, without treating unused positions or a larger case as an instruction to acquire more characters.
