Read the connection line before the colour
GameSir uses G8+ for both a Bluetooth mobile controller and a wired MFi Type-C model. If the intention is to plug a phone directly into the controller, the MFi version documents that route. If Bluetooth is the desired connection, choose the product explicitly named Bluetooth. A similar silhouette and the same Plus sign do not establish the same hardware.
A headphone cable changes the answer
The current MFi table lists a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Bluetooth table says no audio. For someone who wants wired headphones connected to the controller during phone play, that is a stronger reason to consider MFi than a comparison of decorative editions. It does not prove that every phone, audio function or game behaves identically.
The smaller number is not shared
GameSir lists 125–215 mm device length for MFi and 120–215 mm for Bluetooth. A device near the lower boundary therefore cannot be judged from a generic “G8+ fits” statement. Compare the exact device length, then consider connector placement and any case separately. A length within the range does not certify the rest of the physical fit.
The battery arrangement also differs: MFi lists no internal battery, whereas Bluetooth has one. Decide whether direct wired phone use or a separately charged wireless controller better fits the sessions you actually plan.
Keep the common controls in perspective
Both pages document Hall sticks and triggers. Those shared features do not resolve the connection, audio or fit questions above. Choose MFi for its documented wired/audio arrangement, or Bluetooth for its named wireless route; then verify the intended game accepts controller input. The useful upgrade is the model that matches the setup, not the longer product name.
