Give the shield a display role

HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial 4573102630308 has eleven separable shield Bit Staves. That gives the shield a role beyond completing the robot’s outline: separated components can become part of the arrangement you want to keep. Choose this feature because you want that rearrangement, and give the unused pieces a storage place rather than expecting every component to remain on display at once.

SD Gundam EX-Standard Gundam Aerial 4573102630315 has its own documented arrangement, including shoulder attachment of separated shield parts. Its contents list rifle, saber, shield and stickers. The SD therefore offers another way to bring the shield into the robot’s silhouette, rather than simply repeating the HG description at different proportions. Choose the exact kit whose shield role interests you, and check any support required for a floating-parts composition separately. Neither product description measures joint strength or establishes cross-kit parts compatibility.
