You receive both sides of the idea
A single creature can be a satisfying model; this VS set has a different attraction. Bandai names Charizard Battle Ver. and Dragonite together and specifically proposes recreating a battle scene with the pair. Someone who likes arranging an encounter can work with two named participants from the beginning, rather than hoping to find a suitably matched second figure later. The relationship is part of the supplied concept.
A specific Charizard revision
The official record describes renewed head and gripping-hand parts for Charizard. It calls the gripping hand sticker-free, while still listing a foil-sticker sheet for the set. That distinction matters to a builder attracted by assembling the creatures: a revised part does not mean every colour detail is moulded or that the entire project has no stickers. Keep the choice attached to Collection 43, rather than borrowing features from a different Pokémon evolution kit.
An arranged battle, not a card-game starter
The matching Bandai instruction entry identifies product 2521772, giving this older July 2020 set an exact reference. Its appeal is building and presenting the pair. It does not supply the same activity as a Pokémon TCG starter deck, and a battle-scene name does not establish competitive rules. For a recipient who wants both creatures as a small assembly project, that is a clear brief; someone wanting a playable card deck needs a different object.
