Keep two views for a reason
A creator may want a reference open on one computer while working on another. PD2705U documents PIP and PBP for arranging source pictures on the same screen. That is a different reason to buy from simply wanting a larger desktop: the view can contain two sources. It also divides the available picture area, so it does not supply two full-size monitors inside one frame.
The input set is a separate part of the arrangement
BenQ describes KVM switching with the included Hotkey Puck G2. Its connector table lists USB-C video/data and two USB-B upstream ports as well as HDMI and DisplayPort. A picture cable and the USB path have different jobs: seeing a computer does not by itself connect the keyboard and mouse to it.
This combination is relevant for one person deliberately moving a shared input set between computers while retaining a useful view. It does not provide two people with independent keyboards, copy files between the systems, or turn an unsupported specialist peripheral into a compatible one.
Choose it as a shared-view workstation
Consider PD2705U when the two-source view and physical input handoff belong together in the work. If the essential need is two independent full-screen work areas, separate displays answer a different problem. A useful shared screen is the one whose picture area and input arrangement fit the actual task, rather than one expected to erase the boundary between computers.
