The empty box need not leave the table
A deck box usually has an obvious job before play. The Bastion 100+ XL adds a reason to keep it nearby afterwards: Gamegenic describes two symmetrical halves that convert into a card-pile holder and a discard-pile holder. That is worth considering if you would like the container itself to take a defined place beside the cards, rather than becoming another loose object behind your chair.
The useful idea is the change of role. You carry one closed object, then use its two parts for the piles involved in the game. It does not require a second deck or an accessory tray to make that feature relevant.
See which deck you picked up
The plain Clear version, GGS22017ML in Asmodee’s record, also leaves the top or Commander card visible while closed. For someone who likes identifying a deck through a particular card, the card itself can provide the visual cue. The included write-on sticker offers a separate labelling option.
When following a product link, match the plain Clear name and GGS22017ML rather than relying on the Bastion family name alone. Confirm the pictured exterior belongs to that exact variant.
The stack still has to suit the box
The manufacturer frames the capacity around double-sleeved cards with thick inner sleeves and warns that other sleeve brands may affect capacity or compatibility. The name 100+ is therefore not a measurement of the exact stack you already own. Match that arrangement before choosing this precise model.
Its clearest appeal is to a player who wants visible deck identity and two useful pile holders from the same object. If the box will always be put away before play and the top card means little to you, those features may give you no reason to replace a container that already works.
