Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X wired router — ER-X

A compact wired EdgeOS router for someone comfortable configuring a small home network. ER-X is not a UniFi Cloud Gateway and has no built-in Wi-Fi. Keep the older passive-PoE requirements distinct from modern standard PoE before connecting any powered port. Check the current firmware, internet handoff and included adapter. This is an enthusiast networking choice, not a plug-and-play whole-home smart-home kit.
