A display-ready figure gift may need a separate support

Build a complete handover checklist before treating a figure's headline offer as the whole gift.

Define ready to display

For a gift, ready to display should mean that the recipient can assemble the intended supported configuration using identified, suitable components. It does not mean copying every prop from a promotional photograph. Choose the exact figure and version first. Then write down the intended standing or supported pose and check its documented requirements. A visually complete image is an invitation to read the contents list, not evidence that every visible piece is included.

Separate original contents from an incomplete offer

A manufacturer's original packing list and a seller's description of a particular item answer different questions. This matters especially when considering an opened or second-hand object. Ask specifically about the base, connecting arm and model-specific attachments rather than accepting a broad word such as complete. Keep written identification and photographs of the actual components where available. A different figure's similar-looking support should remain an unanswered compatibility question rather than a convenient assumption.

A replacement suggestion has limits

Good Smile's support page points users toward replacement support products for damaged stands. That is not a guarantee of universal fit. Its Nendoroid Easel Stand page explicitly warns that some Nendoroids may be incompatible. Read both the support guidance and the exact accessory specification before adding a replacement to the gift plan. Do not substitute a stand solely because the connector looks close in a photograph.

Count the whole plan without inventing a price

List the figure, any confirmed separate support, delivery, and any other necessary component on separate lines. Leave amounts unknown until there is a current verifiable offer. This makes the scope visible without manufacturing a total from remembered prices. If a needed component cannot be identified, the gift is not yet ready to evaluate as a complete setup, even if the figure itself appears attractive.

Give the recipient useful instructions

Keep the exact model name and instructions with the gift, and label a separately supplied accessory as separate. Avoid modifying or assembling an uncertain connection to make the presentation look finished. The recipient may prefer to build the arrangement themselves. Ask before replacing a familiar original base with a different visual style; solving a missing-part problem and redesigning someone else's collection are different decisions.

Use one final completeness question

Before proceeding, ask whether the recipient could identify every required piece and find the relevant instructions without calling you. If not, finish that information first or choose another documented gift. For a Miku reference, preserve the full version name rather than relying on a character search. A clear handover is more useful than a surprise extra stand whose fit nobody has established.
