Draw the system in three boxes
Write lamp, bulb and control method on separate lines. Under the first, describe where the object will sit. Under the second, record the exact bulb you intend to use. Under the third, say how someone should turn it on or change the light. A single photograph tends to combine these decisions into one appealing scene; a three-part list reveals which pieces an actual offer does and does not establish.
The lamp is not a promise about every bulb
FADO's official listing says the bulb is sold separately and recommends an E26 opal-white globe LED. Its item-specific assembly document is a separate reference for the fixture. This is useful flexibility for someone who wants to choose a bulb deliberately, but it also leaves another decision to complete. Do not assume that a desired dimming method, phone app or remote control is included merely because the lamp appears in a contemporary room.
A base match is only one compatibility check
IKEA explains E26 as a screw-base designation. It does not identify brightness or a complete control ecosystem. Start with the lamp's permitted specifications, then read the selected bulb's requirements. If an extra device or software is mentioned, put it on the same list. This guide does not certify an unnamed bulb or accessory combination, and the presence of an ordinary power switch is not evidence that every connected-light function will behave as imagined.
Decide whether the extra decisions are welcome
This arrangement can suit someone who enjoys selecting components and already knows the control method they prefer. It can be inconvenient for a person who wants one fully specified package with as few setup choices as possible. Neither preference is a measure of technical ability. The practical disadvantage of an incomplete plan is that a good-looking lamp can arrive without the part or control arrangement that made it attractive in the first place.
For a shared room, describe an ordinary evening action: who turns the light on, and from where? Choose the system around that action rather than adding automation simply because it is available.
Keep the complete offer beside the decision
Before any eventual purchase, compare the actual box contents with your three-part list. Retain the item number and relevant instructions so a later replacement does not depend on remembering a product photograph. The goal is a setup whose parts have clear roles, not a collection of features copied from unrelated pages. If you cannot yet identify the bulb and intended control path, keeping FADO as a reference is more precise than calling the whole lighting plan finished.
