Giving HIRONO from a whole set: decide who opens each box

A twelve-box set can support a shared gift ritual, but a named-character promise needs a different plan.

Allocate the experience before the characters

HIRONO Little Mischief, POP NOW set 318, is described in the dated US record as a twelve-box non-repeating whole set. If several friends are sharing that set as gifts, agree whether each person receives an unopened box or whether the group opens everything and then allocates the figures. Those are different social arrangements even when the source package is the same.

The Canadian POP MART FAQ distinguishes mystery selection from choosing a specified figure. Its regional wording is not a worldwide policy, but the distinction is useful: an unopened gift cannot also be a promise of the recipient's favourite named character.

Give everyone the same information

Explain the opening plan with the invitation, and ask before making public exchanges part of the occasion. A recipient may enjoy the character but dislike negotiating for it in front of others. The whole-set wording establishes neither secret-figure odds nor a guaranteed outcome for any individual box. If a particular character is essential, settle that requirement before dividing the gifts.
